The Microbrewery is a hugely popular feature of the Folk Festival. Nestled alongside the Allendale on Hanham Road (home of many of the Headline Concerts and the Saturday Evening Ceilidh), it's the perfect spot for food and drink - plus there's great live music on the stage, across the weekend.

Fluke are an acclaimed covers band hailing from Weymouth and feature members of popular West Country bands The Crack, Pondlife and Jess Upton’s Guilty Pleasures. The line-up features keyboards, guitar, bass, drums and backing vocals, and the band perform slick popular covers from the 1960s to the present day. Each set is drawn from an extensive archive of pop songs which the band tailor to suit any audience – their current repertoire reads like the play list on your favourite jukebox!

Groovemeister bring the spirit of classic funk, soul and disco to every stage with irresistible grooves, powerhouse vocals and a razor-sharp live sound. Performing timeless dancefloor favourites from the ’70s and ’80s, this seven-piece band guarantees feelgood energy, big tunes and a packed dancefloor from start to finish.

Lee Rasdall-Dove best describes his music as a blend of Folk/Pop & Soft Rock. He has supported artists Luke Concannon, Samuel Jack, Sean McGowan & Hattie Briggs. Lee completed a tour of the UK with Coffee House Sessions 2016 to support his debut EP Head In The Clouds, which was featured on BBC introducing & Kerrang! Radio on #KerrangFreshBlood.

Combining fun with brilliant musicality this group has become synonymous with the phrase "Expect the Unexpected”. Prepare to be engaged from start to finish, or as one audience member put it, “They

took me through every emotion I had - from tears to laughter!”

With superb three-part harmonies, top-class musicianship and an infectious feelgood vibe, they’ve built a reputation for filling dancefloors and creating unforgettable festival, party and corporate performances across the UK. 

The Allsorts are a Dorset-based rock and indie covers band delivering energetic live sets packed with crowd favourites from artists including Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs and Red Hot Chili Peppers. With big riffs, driving rhythms and plenty of singalong moments, they bring festival audiences to life wherever they play.

The Transitions are a dynamic two-piece band delivering reinvented rock, punk, ska, folk and pop covers with energy, humour and serious musical punch. From Cash to The Clash, they put their own twist on every song, creating a huge live sound without backing tracks and a festival set full of surprises.

Wimborne Minster Folk Festival Ltd is a not for profit organisation run by volunteers. Running the event incurs significant costs and donations of any size are gratefully received.
