Matt Black "Who Is Matt Black?” A man with fingers that move like lightning… a sense of humour as sharp as a razor… and a face like the love child of Princess Anne and David Seaman (can’t win ‘em all!). All this is seasoned with a vast repertoire, and many, many years’ experience in corporate entertainment, after dinner entertainment, cabaret, pub sing-alongs, weddings, and piano bar music.

Dirty DC is a high-voltage AC/DC tribute band delivering raw power, loud riffs, and no-nonsense rock ’n’ roll. Dedicated to capturing the sound, energy, and attitude of one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Dirty DC brings the thunder to every stage they hit. Fronted by Luke on vocals, the band recreates the unmistakable swagger and grit of classic AC/DC. From Bon Scott to Brian Johnson eras, Dirty DC delivers the hits loud, fast, and unapologetically dirty.

Dreamcoaster. Luring you into a sonic summer daydream of indiepop delight, Dreamcoaster is Brighton duo Jane and Andrew Craig, brimming with warm catchy melodies, immersive guitar sounds and bittersweet lyrics.
Dreamcoaster will perform songs from their acclaimed new album “Imaginary Reflections”, hailed by BBC Radio 6 Music as “fabulous; so warm and catchy” and as “a sophisticated achievement in independent pop” by The Big Takeover.
After being named Band of the Festival last year, Dreamcoaster can’t wait to return to Wimborne Minster Folk Festival in June.

80s, 90s and 00s party band guaranteed to get you up and keep you up on the dancefloor all night. Delivering a perfect mix of tunes from the likes of Simple Minds, The Killers, Oasis, Duran Duran, Inspiral Carpets, Pulp, Stereophonics, Blur and more !!

The Fifinellas. Step back in time with The Fifinellas, a dazzling vocal duo who bring the golden age of swing and jazz roaring into the 21st Century. Named after the WWII Women Airforce Service Pilots, they bring tunes from the 1940s but delight with Postmodern Jukebox, songs of today in an old fashioned way. The Fifinellas are here to make sure the past never sounded so good!!

Galaxy Thief are a British indie rock 4-piece from Dorset. Formed in early 2017, influences from bands such as Nothing But Thieves, The 1975, Foo Fighters & Angels and Airwaves infuse a unique and unprecedented sound. From local music venues to festivals around the UK, they have built a reputation for energetic live shows that bring their fans back time and time again.

Charlotte Geary is a young singer and prolific songwriter, with a passion for performing. Supported by a live band, she treats her audience to a good mix of well-known covers, along with her original material. Charlotte will have you singing and dancing along for sure!

I'll Have Another Pint. 'I’ll Have Another Pint’ was formed as a pop swing band to perform popular songs in a refreshingly different style.

Paul Kinvig is a seasoned musician & songwriter based in Dorset, with over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He began his musical journey at the age of 17 and has been singing, writing & recording since. As a solo acoustic performer, Paul delivers live music across the south coast. His repertoire includes a mix of popular covers and original compositions.

Kolumbia is a dynamic young indie rock band bringing fresh energy and originality to the music scene. Fin, Leo, Rex and Oscar, all students from Queen Elizabeth School in Wimborne, are united by a shared passion for writing music that blends raw teenage emotion and infectious melodies to create a sound that’s entirely their own. Already turning heads with their first single ‘I Want You’, the boys are excited to be returning to the Folk Festival after their debut last year.

Lÿme is a rock band made up of students from Queen Elizabeth's School in Wimborne. They play music from the 60s to post 90s, including Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against the Machine, Blur and Nirvana.

Polly Morris Band. Performing laugh-out-loud funny songs, parody songs and also heartbreakingly poignant songs, The Polly Morris Band is a whirlwind of entertainment. The original songs, written by award-winning songwriter, Polly Morris, have clever lyrics and catchy melodies and bring a smile to your day. Combining fun with brilliant musicality this group has become synonymous with the phrase "Expect the Unexpected”. Prepare to be engaged from start to finish, or as one audience member put it, “They took me through every emotion I had - from tears to laughter!”

Motherukers take on modern day classics and forge them into timeless wonders of a bygone era with the power of 'Ukular Fusion'.

Quarterjacks are Wimborne’s Town Band, who enjoy performing at local events and taking part in carnivals across the region.

Ratrace. Established 1999, Ratrace ska band have been playing the UK & Europe for over 25 years. They've played alongside and supported Bad Manners (over 50 times), The Selector, The Beat with Dave Wakeling and many others, playing to over 75,000 people every year.

Tim Somerfield is a UK-based alternative rock artist blending groove-led rhythms and melodic intensity. Performing solo, he constructs expansive arrangements live through layered vocals and loop-based performance — creating a sound that bridges raw immediacy with full-band impact. Over the past decade, Tim has established himself as a distinctive live presence on the South Coast circuit, pairing technical control with high-energy delivery.

Sunsets are an upbeat eclectic covers band performing unique versions of varied music across multiple decades and genres. Covering artists such as: Fleetwood Mac, Tina Turner, Adele, Harry Styles, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, Florence + the Machine, The Stereophonics and many more!

The Captain's Beard. Playing the songs of grog, grot and grime that come from the high seas, this legendary troupe of travelling troubadours are the soundtrack to all who are up for a pirate’s life.

Daughter of Kentish festival traders, Millie's roots are firmly planted in folky beginnings. Her songs aim to take the audience on a journey of heart stirring emotions, from political foot stompers, to soul warming ballads

Weak Asleep. A 5-piece band from the sunny shores of Bournemouth, with a love of pop punk nostalgia, drawing on influences from a spectrum of both pop and alternative music scenes. Their goal for world dominance is to have their lyrics and melodies stuck in your head.
