Bittersweet Harmony is a diverse local community choir where everyone is welcome. They are an inclusive choir, regardless of health or ability, bringing people together. They perform in the local community, hospitals, hospices & care homes as well as at festivals where they raise money for local charities.
Jubilate are a friendly a cappella choir from Wimborne, singing 4 part harmony (soprano, alto, tenor, bass), with an interesting, varied repertoire, from 16th century madrigals to doo-wop and jazz, including traditional West Gallery Carols at Christmas.
Mostly Harmless Acoustic Band are a four piece acoustic harmony group made up of two couples; friends for over 30 years. After retiring from their jobs, and enjoying singing round the table at home for many years, they decided to unleash their enthusiasm on the public and have been playing gigs in Dorset and the surrounding counties since summer 2023. They cover Americana, Blues, Folk and Country.
Resonate! are an energetic mixed voice choir singing a range of repertoire from easy listening, to today’s chart toppers. Including music from the 70s and some musical theatre too! They love what they do, and sound great in the process (even if they do say so themselves!). Give them a listen and see what you think!
Sound of Soul are a vibrant, feel-good adult vocal group from Christchurch, bringing together singers who love nothing more than sharing great music and great energy with an audience.
Their lively performances celebrate the very best of soul, pop and Motown through the decades, delivered with rich harmonies, infectious enthusiasm and plenty of personality. Their upbeat sound, joyful choreography and big smiles quickly lift the spirits and get audiences singing along.
Sounds like Fun! is a ladies' choir based in Bournemouth They have been singing together since 2021 and, as it says on the tin, they have a lot of fun whilst delivering their beautiful, harmony rich sound. In the process of making great sounds, they have raised thousands of pounds for local charities. Their repertoire ranges from musical theatre to rock and pop and easy listening - they'll sing almost anything!
Southern Union (SU) Chorus Dorset’s male a cappella barbershop chorus was established in 1972 and has a rich history steeped in camaraderie and musical excellence. From their early performances at the British Association of Barbershop Singers’ National Conventions, they have consistently showcased their talent on both national and international stages. The Chorus has also appeared on television, competing in Sainsbury’s choir of the year. Southern Union’s a cappella songs are a mix of traditional, contemporary, show tunes and pop including songs by Elton John, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and McFly!
