Wimborne Minster Folk Festival can only operate with the valuable help of Volunteers to keep things running smoothly and safely for all our visitors. Would you like to be at the heart of the Festival this year, playing a vital role to ensure everyone has a fantastic weekend?

We need Stewards to assist in the town during the daytime between 1000 and 1700 hrs:

 

• At the Information Points - to help with manning the Information Point in the town centre and Willow Walk

• Around the town - providing help and information to visitors 

• Festival Procession - for the Procession to go ahead, we need at least a certain number of stewards

• Traffic Management - ensuring road closures are maintained appropriately

 

We also greatly appreciate help with concert stewarding - checking tickets and access to our concerts.

In addition, help is needed for the children's activities (DBS preferable but not essential), and Music artist support.

 

Training is provided for all roles, as are parking and refreshments while you're stewarding. Additionally,

Stewards have access to all concerts (unless sold out) by virtue of their lanyard providing they sign up for a minimum of 2 shifts over the weekend.
