PLAY MISTY (Sunday) 

Play Misty is a folk/Americana trio based in Bristol, England and New Quay, Wales. Their sound is built around 3-part harmonies, acoustic guitar and flute – a modern take on these genres inspired by artists such as CSNY, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt and more. Formed in 2022, Play Misty has already been supported by BBC Radio Bristol, BCFM and more. POOLE ME HEARTIES (Saturday) 

 

In the 5 years since they were formed, Poole Me Hearties have gone from a standing start to performing at some of the most prestigious sea shanty and folk festivals in the UK and Europe. They play traditional sea shanties and other seafaring songs in a unique style, with a range of acoustic instruments including accordion, fiddle, flute and mandolin.

Jamie PRITCHARD & FRIENDS (Friday) 

 

A sound between Folk-Rock and Country. Their shows feature original songs by Jamie Pritchard, many from his most recent EP ‘Tapestry’, as well as classic covers from artists such as Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer and Chris Stapleton. Joy filled tunes to get you moving, and stripped back moments allowing the storytelling of the songs to shine through.

QHCB GYPSY JAZZ (Saturday) 

 

Welcome to QHCB (Quartet of the Hot Club of Bournemouth). Playing in the Hot Club/Gypsy Jazz Style, drawing their set list from the extensive repertoire of composers and musicians who have popularised this genre, they also play some contemporary tunes in the Hot Club/Django Reinhardt style. Based in the Bournemouth area, with a wealth of experience as working musicians. Simon Newton (Guitar/Vocals), John Belben (Guitar), Gill Tolliday (Violin) & Ray Russell (Double Bass).

RESOUND CHOIR (Saturday)

 

Resound Choir from St Michael's Middle School is made up of children from Years 5 to 8, with ages ranging from 9 to 13. Under the brilliant leadership of Steph-Martin Papp the choir are going from strength to strength and are sure to brighten your afternoon with their eclectic mix of songs. Nothing is more joyful than the sound of children's voices - we look forward to seeing you!

Pete ROBSON (Friday) 

 

A solo blues musician keeping blues out of the grave, Pete takes a simple approach with his resonator slide guitar, homemade stomp box and deep, edgy voice. His dramatic sound may be rooted in the delta blues of old, but his lyrics bring this old-time music up to the present day.

SIR REEL CLARKS (Saturday & Sunday)

 

Born from the talent of Aaron Clark, a musician defying the challenges of autism, ADHD, dyspraxia and Tourette’s, Sir Reel Clarks began with the inheritance of Aaron's late grandfather's melodeon and led to an award-winning family group with Aaron, Andy, Chantel and Kyle making music with melodeon, vocals, percussion, guitar, mandola and bodhran.

SIXTEEN STRING JACK (Saturday) 

 

Back by popular demand, Sixteen String Jack are a unique, energetic 4-piece band from Dorset playing a mixture of Americana, Country, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Irish Trad & more. Since forming in 2016, they've built up a huge following across the south coast. Well thought-out arrangements are led by Banjo, Mandolin and Fiddle, while Bass and Drums bring a driving rhythm sure to get your feet stomping!

Soulhole are four guys playing a provocative fusion of funk-rock and blues. They fuse influences from an eclectic array of genres in popular music, filling your ears with funky guitar riffs, and a captivating keys/synth player allows the rhythm section to lay down the foundations for the crowd to funk.

An ebullient yet heartfelt sounding folk duo, Stables play a mix of their own material and a few covers (which they put their own spin on). Stagecoach Wimborne are honoured to be invited back to perform at the prestigious Wimborne Minster Folk Festival, for the third year in a row! Stagecoach Performing Arts Wimborne includes children aged 4-16 years old who love to dance, act and sing. They can’t wait to entertain you with some upbeat numbers on Dacombes Stage (Willow Walk) and in the parade.
